Meet the our lovely mushroomy earrings: playful, earthy, and a little bit magical. These sculptural pieces of ear candy are reimagined from fragments of pre-loved jewellery and scrap wood, reshaped into a design that echoes the curves of wild mushrooms — part forest fantasy, part vintage glam.  I didn’t plan to make these mushroom-shaped – anyone that knows me will know that I detest the slimy things, but it was a happy accident.

Each pair combines warm wooden arcs with hammered gold-tone drops that shimmer and move with you. Though made from upcycled treasures, every piece is fitted with brand-new sustainable steel posts, ensuring comfort and long-lasting wear.

Lightweight yet full of personality, these earrings celebrate imperfection, transformation, and the art of giving old materials a new story.

Every piece we make is handcrafted from reclaimed and repurposed materials – whether that’s factory rejects, plastic waste, broken jewellery, sofa-industry offcuts, or other forgotten treasures. Because of that, each item may vary slightly in colour, texture or finish, but that’s exactly what makes it unique. No two pieces are ever identical. Each Trash Panda piece is handcrafted from reclaimed materials – and some of those materials have already lived a full, colourful life before becoming your jewellery. Please treat them with care: avoid wearing in the shower, while swimming, or when applying perfume, hairspray, or lotions. A little mindfulness goes a long way in keeping your upcycled treasure looking its best for years to come. Remember, these pieces may be tough in spirit, but they’re still beautifully delicate by design.
